“How are you?” –“I’m fine.” THE END. It’s perfect textbook English, but not much of a conversation! Try to talk longer, talk more, say something interesting. Even “Nothing special recently” is more interesting than just “I’m fine”. Also, when doing the listening practice, if it’s hard to understand, try saying something like “I couldn’t catch that. Could you say it again, slowly please?” Don’t give up, just keep on trying!
